About Waggies

Hi! I’m Lorraine Wagstaff and I own and operate Waggies Dog Grooming Noosa.

English by birth, Australian by heart and a Noosa girl to the core. I have a beautiful family here in Noosa, including my wonderful husband, 3 children and 5 grand children & my two dogs. My daughter’s two cavoodles and a friend’s spoodle were my guinea pigs helping to learn my trade & have been on the receiving end of lots of grooming attention.

Like many Noosa souls, one day I decided that, in order to love what I do, I needed to do what I love. My passion is animals!  I have owned many dogs as well as a pony, goat, a sheep, a calf & many birds. Over the years, my husband and I have nursed  stray animals back to health and reintroduced them to their natural habitat, including hatching bearded dragon eggs after the mother was killed while laying them.  Growing up, horses were my passion and my granddaughter has just purchased a pony – I can’t wait to see it!

I am forever grateful to my dear friend Julie who, when watching me groom my daughter’s dogs, suggested I could do it for a living.  After a hands-on course at Smooch a Pooch where Jill, my teacher, taught me important skills in dog grooming, empathy, product use and safety – I became a fully qualified dog groomer and Waggies Dog Grooming Service was born.

My qualifications include a Certificate in  Dog Grooming, a Certificate in Dog Care (Aus), a Certificate in Dog & Pet Grooming (Aus) & a Professional Dog Grooming Award for a hands on course in Dog Grooming.

Located in Cooroibah and only a short drive from Noosaville & Tewantin, I welcome you and your dog to my home where your pet will feel relaxed and be pampered. If your pooch doesn’t like to travel, has separation anxiety etc. then I will come to you with my fully equipped mobile dog grooming trailer.

At my home or yours, your dog will be treated with love and attention just like my own, they will be clean, looking smart and wagging with delight!
